FX BANK FORECAST · TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective 26 April 2026 — last revised 24 July 2026
Change notice · 24 July 2026
Section 5 (Licence to use the Service) has been expanded to add express permissions that were previously offered elsewhere on this site but not reflected here: quotation and citation of aggregate cross-firm material with attribution, embedding of the consensus widget, and retrieval, indexing and citation by search engines and AI assistants. Rights to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning models remain reserved except as stated in section 5(d). These changes principally broaden what you may do. One restriction was clarified rather than broadened: section 7’s model-training prohibition now applies to all machine-learning models, not only third-party models.
Notice
These terms are provided for transparency. Final binding text is subject to legal review — questions to coverage@fxbankforecast.com.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FX Bank Forecast website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. Continued use following any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The Service is intended for professional and institutional users. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and — if you access the Service on behalf of an organisation — that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. The Service is not directed at minors and is not designed to handle personal data of children.
FX Bank Forecast is an independent research-aggregation platform. The Service compiles publicly-released FX research from major investment-bank strategy desks and presents it for cross-firm comparison, alongside live spot rates and an economic calendar sourced from third-party providers. The Service does not execute trades, custody assets, or provide personalised investment advice. Detail on sources and editorial process is available on request via coverage@fxbankforecast.com.
Certain features of the Service may require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, for safeguarding your authentication credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share your credentials with any third party and to notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of credential sharing, automated access other than through an issued API key or as permitted by section 5(d), or misuse.
(a) General licence. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, FX Bank Forecast grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and view the Service for your personal use or for the internal-business research purposes of your organisation. No other right or licence is granted, expressly or by implication. Except as expressly permitted in paragraphs (b) to (d) below, you may not redistribute, republish, sell, syndicate, or commercially exploit any portion of the Service without prior written consent.
(b) Quotation and citation. You may quote limited extracts of aggregate cross-firm material — consensus levels, ranges, dispersion measures, contributing-firm counts and accuracy statistics — in news reporting, commentary, research notes, academic work and similar uses, provided that: (i) you attribute the material to “FX Bank Forecast” and include a link to fxbankforecast.com or to the specific page relied on; (ii) the extract is limited in extent and is not a substitute for the Service; (iii) figures are reproduced accurately, are not presented as your own, and any report date shown is preserved; and (iv) other than by retrieving the resources expressly published for that purpose at fxbankforecast.com/data, you do not systematically extract, scrape, or reconstruct a substantial part of any dataset. This paragraph does not permit reproduction of forecasts attributed to a named institution where that material is available only under a paid subscription at the time of your use. For the avoidance of doubt, this paragraph does permit quotation of accuracy statistics attributed to a named institution where we publish them without subscription at the time of your use. The licence in this paragraph extends only to FX Bank Forecast’s own rights in the compiled dataset.
(c) Embeddable widget. The consensus widget provided at fxbankforecast.com/widget may be embedded on editorial and commercial websites free of charge, provided the attribution link is preserved and the widget is not modified.
(d) Machine-readable access and AI citation. The machine-readable resources we publish for that purpose — including fxbankforecast.com/llms.txt, fxbankforecast.com/llms-full.txt, and the CSV exports and JSON API endpoints listed at fxbankforecast.com/data — may be retrieved, indexed and cited by search engines, AI assistants and similar systems on the terms set out in paragraph (b). Where you hold a valid API key, you may use the responses returned to it for your own internal-business purposes and may cite them under paragraph (b); onward redistribution of responses requires written consent. Rights to use the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine-learning models are reserved, save where a crawler or agent is identified by name in the user-agent directives we publish at fxbankforecast.com/robots.txt, as those directives stand at the time of access, and accurately identifies itself as that agent. A general directive addressed to unnamed agents does not grant that permission. Changes to those directives are not “material changes” for the purposes of section 12.
(e) Third-party rights reserved. Nothing in this section grants any right in firm-attributed research displayed on the Service, which remains the intellectual property of the originating institution or its licensors (see section 6). Your use of that underlying research is your own responsibility.
(f) Anything further. Bulk redistribution, syndication, commercial republication, and licensing enquiries should be directed to coverage@fxbankforecast.com. The permissions in paragraphs (b) to (d) may be revoked for misuse.
The Service, including its software, design, layout, editorial commentary, cross-firm aggregations, and all associated trademarks and trade dress, is owned by FX Bank Forecast or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Firm-attributed research displayed on the Service — including forecast tables, trade ideas, scenario analysis, and any commentary — remains the intellectual property of the originating investment bank or its licensors. The selection, arrangement, normalisation, and editorial presentation of that research as a comparable cross-firm dataset is the intellectual property of FX Bank Forecast.
You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:
Bank research displayed on the Service is sourced from publicly-released research notes published by the originating firms. Live rates, calendar data, and positioning data are sourced from third-party providers (identified on the relevant section pages). FX Bank Forecast does not warrant the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of third-party content and is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or delays in such content. Third-party content remains subject to the terms of its originating provider.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FX Bank Forecast disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, and uninterrupted availability. Nothing on the Service constitutes investment advice, financial advice, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security or instrument. See the full Disclosures.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall FX Bank Forecast, its officers, directors, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service. The aggregate liability of FX Bank Forecast for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100), or (b) the total fees you paid to FX Bank Forecast for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FX Bank Forecast and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with (i) your use of the Service, (ii) your breach of these Terms, or (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual-property right.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page along with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service following any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a change, you should discontinue use of the Service. As stated in section 5(d), changes to the crawler directives published at fxbankforecast.com/robots.txt are not material changes for the purposes of this section; those directives apply as they stand at the time of access.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, suspected misuse, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual-property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — shall survive.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, with the seat of arbitration in New York County, New York. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party waives any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class or collective action.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FX Bank Forecast with respect to the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject matter.
Questions or notices regarding these Terms should be directed to coverage@fxbankforecast.com.
